Prisma Taranto close the file Spoleto with only half a set pause (the second up to 11-16 and ended 23-25). In the first set the Rossoblù hit the gas after the first time out going from 9-9 to 14-9 thanks to a Castellano show with 3 winning points. Five points advantages become 8 (20-12, 23-15) thanks to a super attack performance (74% positive with Schuil reaching 100% and Castellano 86%) and to a very efficient service (that will end at the end of the match with 10 aces)
But in the second set Taranto mess things up a little (a couple of wrong attacks and a couple of faults) and allow Spoleto to take courage (2-6, 6-11) thanks also to a grown of their better spikers (Gadnik and Perez). The rossoblu arrive to 5 points back up to 12-17 but then, they start to get closer again (14-17, 16-18). Only Schuil keeps the attcks alive while the spikers are having big problems to put balls on the ground and Dipinto is forced to replace Patriarca for Gatin when the score is 17-20.
The match lights up and becomes nervous and the referee has to calm down the teams through the capitains. When the score hits 19-22 Dipinto replace De Giorgi and Schuil with Mazzarelli and Valdir. At 21-24 two consecutive winning blocks from Perez suddenly reopen the match but in the last set ball Perez made a mistake and the set is closed.
In the third and in the fourth set the Rossoblu are almost without an opponent thanks especially to great serves.
The third set starts with Schuil protagonist and the score hits 5-1 thanks to 3 aces.
Taranto runs away. At 18-12 Di Pinto replace Giretto with Giosa. The set ends 25-16 with 71% in attack for Schuil, 83% for Patriarca and 75% for Castellano.
The last set opens up with a Patriarca show allowing the team to a 8-2 lead. Taranto goes like a train and reach 13-6 and 17-6 with the help of 3 Castellano aces. Spoleto replace Radic for Montanari and Di Belardino for De Marco but match is almost over.An Heikkinen ace ends the set and the game 25-16.
