At the beginning of the pre-season, coach Lorenzetti had picked Loris Manià as his captain, but given that the regulations do not allow him to be captain during official games, Loris made some interviews and eventually chose Andrea Sala and Dick Kooy as the captains.
“Sala will be captain on court – said Manià – While in the rotations in which he will be out, Kooy will take over. As for me, I was happy when I heard the decision of the coach. This is a position that gives me even more responsibilities, I will try to do my best. It’s only the start but there is a great atmosphere, a lot of young guys, everybody is very excited to be here”.
