Between weight room and the pool

Monza’s new season officially got under way this morning. Sport director Claudio Bonati introduced the coaching staff to the team which gathered for the first time. The only player missing was Hungarian outside hitter Arpad Baroti, who’s on duty with his national team in the qualification for the coming European Championships. The first physical tests will take place in the afternoon. Some of the most promising youngsters of the Under 19 (Davide Brunetti and Andrea Olivati) and Under 17 (Claudio Gaggini and Michele Lucherini) will join the first team in this first phase of pre-season training.
