Molfetta made its first move on the market with the addition of a libero, which is usually the position left for last. The club tabbed Marco Rizzo, born in 1990 in Galatina, in the southern Salento region. Rizzo, played for Taviano, and Gioia del Colle in the A2, and he earned promotion from the B1 with Gela in 2010. Rizzo spent last season at Genova.
