Città di Castello brings back two middle blockers: Roberto Braga and Alessandro Franceschini. Born in 1984, Braga had been a huge hit at Città di Castello in 2009-10 with 253 points and 57 blocks, before going to San Giustino in the A1 and Segrate last season.
“Extremely happy to be back after two years away – said Braga – Nice to meet again people I know and that are happy to see me. We agreed terms in no time, it was easy because I feel at home here”.
As for Franceschini, he is back after three extremely successful years in B1 with Cortona, where he earned promotion in 2010-11, although the club gave up on its right. Franceschini played at Città di Castello from 2002 to 2009. “Nice to step back in this gym – said Franceschini – Coming back where you grew up gives you great motivation”.
