‘Big Three’ working on new roster

Gulinelli, Lorizio and De Mori are three important names in the past or recent history of Castellana Grotte and the club decided to put them together for this new challenge in the A1. Pino Lorizio led the team in its first Serie A adventure with a superb double, with the cup and promotion in that same 1993-94 season. The club can certainly not forget either De Mori, captain of the unbeatable team that went back to the A2 in 2004-05 with just one defeat all season in one of the playoff final games against Spoleto. And then there is the amazing breakthrough achieved by the Emperor Flavio Gulinelli, who miraculously saved the team from going down when he took over and gathered 9 wins in the last 13 games among which one unforgettable triumph in Treviso. Now the new challenge of the ‘Big Three’ will be to put together a competitive roster for the top division.
