Here comes the first signing in Perugia after four contract extensions. The club signed outside hitter Thomas Edgar. The 22-year-old Australian from Sydney played last season at Corigliano in A2, where he showed all its athleticism, power, quality in attack and on the serve. Edgar, who is 212cm tall, scored 392 points.
“Thomas is only 22 and has a huge potential – said sport director Bino Rizzuto – He did well in Corigliano in his first year in Italy, especially in the first half of season. He possesses great physical and technical attributes”.
