Born in 1980, Middle blocker Marcello Forni signed for Vibo Valentia. Forni spent the last four years in Monza, and also played for Modena and Santa Croce. This is Vibo’s first signing after the contract extensions of coach Blengini, setter Coscione and outside hitter Klapwijk, while we know middle blocker Nikolov will not stay.
“This was kind of a little shock for me to find myself on the market after four years in Monza – said Forni – Especially considering the way it happened, with the club closing its doors unexpectedly. Vibo is the first that showed interest and I am very happy. The club is one of the very few being busy on the market right now”.
