Latina strengthened its roster with the addition of Jeroen Rauwerdink. The 27-year old, who is the captain of the Netherland, won three league titles, two cups and one super cup in the seven seasons spent in his home country with Apeldoom. He moved to Italy and Monza in 2008, where he stayed 3 years before signing for San Giustino last season.
“This was the choice of coach Prandi, and we were happy to accept his request – said Gianrio Falivene – Simoni coached him for two years in Monza and said a lot of good about him. We brought him in for the Cev Cup too, we intend on putting together a competitive team for this competition”.
