Carmelo Gitto will wear the Latina shirt until 2014. The middle blocker from Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto added a two year deal to the already three years spent at the club. Gitto will inevitably be part of the players with most appearances in the history of the club.
“I am glad that the club showed faith in me by giving me a two-year contract – said Gitto – I hope to pay them back by doing as well as I’ve done last season. I think I went in crescendo last year, I have always thought that working hard in the gym would pay off one day or another. I get on fine with Prandi, we have a good relationship. He showed faith in me and now I want to work hard to get a starting role”.
