It’s been a top quality derby between Cantù and Segrate in which the hosts had to surrender in four sets despite a good performance. Cantù sent an unprecedented line-up composed exclusively of Italians because of the flu that hit some of the players.
“We had to send a young and all-Italian team on court – explained coach Della Rosa – If we look at both starting six, we realise that ours cost one tenth of Segrate’s”.
