The first half of season could not have ended any better for Castellana Grotte. The southerners gathered an important win in Tuscany against Santa Croce, while the Leaders were surprisingly stopped by Isernia in its own house. Two Christmas presents at once as the team is now tied at the top, although it stays second due to the set difference (just one separate the two teams) and will therefore meet the seventh, Sora, in the Italian Cup A2.
