Roma had a training session with Club Italia as it has to handle a special situation with many players away and a long break due to the World Cup. Roma played with Paolucci, Portuondo, Cisolla, Puliti, Bjelic, Lebl and Paparoni in the starting six. Club Italia won it 3-1 with three sets played up to 15 (15-10, 10-15, 25-22, 16-14), while Roma had good performances from Paolucci and from the youngsters Tataru and Ottaviani.
