This is a historical result for the ‘squadra azzura’ who had been waiting for this for eight years, to be more precise since June 21 2003 (3-0 in the World League after 12 consecutive defeats).
“That was an excellent game of volleyball with great competitive spirit – said Travica – We started off perfectly, we lost our way a bit but recovered like great teams do”.
