After 12 years around the world, former Macerata player Andrija Geric is back in his Novi Sad, just 80 kilometers from the capital, Belgrade, in Serbia.
“I took this decision for my life, my family was the first reason for this choice – said middle blocker Andrija – But the post volleyball had also something to do with it. I still feel I am a good player, I want to play at least another three years, but I have started to look beyond my playing career. That’s why I registered in the Psychology university, this is a subject I have always found fascinating and which plays an important role in sport. Who knows if that might not help me to stay in volleyball?”.
