Sometimes, little gestures are enough to show how great sport can be. It might have seemed strange but many realised what was happening and applauded the gesture of Luka Suljagic (Padova middle blocker), and Luca Castellani (Modena libero) who warmed up together on the same side of the net.
“We were 13, Padova too – said Castellani – It was Fabio Soli, our assistant coach, who suggested this to me. I didn’t know Suljagic, we introduced ourselves, shook our hands and started to warm up together, very simply and naturally”.
