Padova will be back on court in a friendly game against Lubljana to prepare Sunday’s derby against Verona. This will be the second friendly in a row following the 2-3 loss against Budvanska Rivjera (25-14, 23-25, 30-28, 22-25, 13-15) and it will take place in Abano Terme at 6.30pm on Wednesday.

“Of the first four games, this one will be the one in which we have more chance to come out with a good result – said coach Montagnani ahead of the derby – We have work with great intensity in recent days and the game against Ljubljana will be a test at the highest level. Against Verona we will have the full squad given that Simeonov has recovered from the flu”.
