Castellana Grotte secured the services of strong Serbian spiker Goran Maric. The latter played last season at San Giustino. Maric arrived in Italy in 2004, with Ancona. Arezzo and Corigliano were his next stops before staying four seasons at San Giustino. Maric has collected around 40 caps with his national team, with which he won the bronze medal in the World League 2002.
