President Tonio Bongiovanni, after the decision to continue to be a protagonist in the world of volleyball, explains the project the company is working on. A moment of reflection, of balances, but above all of planning for the future. At Gioiella Prisma Volley, the next moves are being carefully evaluated, laying the foundations for a new cycle.
President, how difficult was the relegation to digest? What were your prevailing emotions?
“Relegation is always a difficult verdict to accept, especially when you have worked hard throughout the season. We knew it would be a tough fight, especially at the end, but there were moments when we really believed we could end with a smile.
What have you learned from this experience, both as President and as a man?
“This season has taught me a lot, both from a management and human point of view. I understood that every detail can make a difference and that, even in difficult times, it is essential to remain united and determined. I have learned to reflect with a constructive spirit and with positivity.
What convinced you to stay in volleyball?
“The passion for this sport and the affection of the people who are close to us. After the disappointment, I received many phone calls from our collaborators, sponsors and above all from fans and enthusiasts, but also from many people who are not linked to volleyball but who saw in our sport an important point of reference, a great sense of belonging to the territory that encouraged us not to give up.
