After the success of a week ago, which came within the friendly walls of the ilT Quotidiano Arena in five sets, for Trentino Itas the time has come to take to the field for the return Semifinal of the CEV Cup, with the Dolomites who will challenge the Turkish team of Ziraat Bank Ankara away, with kick-off at 17:00 (live on DAZN). The first of the two matches that will award the pass to the Final of the European competition saw the victory of Fabio Soli’s team, capable of imposing itself in the tie-break after a comeback worthy of applause, given that the Turkish team was leading by 2 sets to 0.
To advance to the round, Trento will need to win the match with any result: even a success in the tie-break, in fact, would allow them to avoid the Golden Set and fly directly to the final act of the competition. Golden set that instead would arrive in the event of a defeat in the fifth set. A 3-0 or 3-1 defeat would qualify the Turks for the Final. On the other side of the draw there will be one between Tours and Rzeszow, with the first leg match that ended 3-2 for the Poles.
