It will be a derby with multiple meanings, the one between Brescia and Cantù scheduled for Sunday at 6 pm at the San Filippo. It will be played simultaneously on all fields because the last game of the Regular Season can still determine many situations, at the top and at the bottom of the standings. Tinet and Consoli are tied at 53 points, but the Friulians have a better set quotient that would be confirmed in the event of a full victory for both teams, while, if Tinet were to be defeated by Fano or leave them a point and Brescia were to win by three, the passage to the Play-off semifinals skipping the Quarters would be guaranteed to the tucani. In between, however, the field must be taken into account and the derby also means a lot for the opponent of the day: Campi Reali must collect at least one salvation point to distance themselves from Reggio Emilia, three points behind and currently in the relegation zone with Palmi. Behind Consoli, watch out for Ravenna, guest of Macerata, also in the running to stay in Serie A2.

The former Candeli and Galliani will obviously be galvanized and know the Brescia field well. In addition to them, the 6+1 Cantù team includes the Martinelli-Novello diagonal – season’s top scorer just behind Motzo and Gamba -, with Tiozzo as second wing and Bragatto in the center. The libero is captain Butti.

On Sunday, San Filippo will once again see Bisset Astengo among its protagonists, the Cuban opposite hitter who has been out since the home match at the end of January against Fano.
