The most important part of the season has arrived for Negrini CTE with the start of the Play Offs.
After finishing the regular season with a third place, the Acqui Terme team has earned the chance to play the quarterfinals of the final draw by playing the first and eventual third match at home, against the third in the standings.
The opponent will be Sarlux Sarroch, a team with which the Terme team has struggled quite a bit.
In Sardinia, the island team won with a clear result, while in Valenza the Acqui team won only with a comeback in the tiebreak, after losing the first two.
However, what happened in the regular round is just a memory. Now, as stated by coach Michele Totire, everything is reset:
“Sarroch is the team with which we struggled the most because they took four points out of the six up for grabs in the two matches. Now, however, everything is reset. Having finished the regular season undefeated at home no longer counts for anything. We are working very well. As we get closer, our concentration, attitude and attitude will increase and they will have to be the right ones. We have to take advantage of playing the first and eventual third at home. We should face everything one week at a time, the players’ response will have to be positive. We started preparing for these playoffs even before the Ancona match. The mental response will have to be absolutely positive. They will remember the excellent performance we did and we must not be distracted, we should not pay for the mistake of starting the match not very well.
