Last match of the regular season before the play offs for Negrini CTE who will travel to Ancona to challenge The Begin Volley, the penultimate team in the standings with 15 points which, by now, cannot mathematically aspire to an advancement, much less drop down in position. In the upper parts of the ranking, however, the games are still open. The Acqui team cannot go lower than the third place currently occupied, with 35 points, behind San Donà and Belluno on 37. The fourth, Gabbiano Farmamed Mantova is five steps behind. For the other mathematical positions, twists and turns are still possible. We will therefore have to wait for the results of the last round to find out who will be the opponent in the quarter-finals of the championship. The top four teams in each group will challenge the second four in a best-of-three match, the first and third at the home of the best-placed team. In the next round, always in the same way, the two groups will cross paths and then reach the finals where the best of five matches will take place.

“We go down to play our game and get the best result. Ahead there are two teams with two points behind us and anything can happen. Let’s go with respect for the opponent and in the end we will look at the results of the others. We more or less imagine who the play-off opponent will be, we have to make home games our additional weapon. We are implementing small changes that we have not yet tried in the game.
