Wednesday’s brilliant victory in Macerata lifted Modena into fifth position and now the team gets ready to take on Roma on Sunday.
“We are extremely happy – said setter Mikko Esko – We worked hard and arrived in Macerata ready. Macerata was and still is very strong, but we fought hard from the first to the last play. I’ve been told Modena had not won there for ten years. But we can’t get carried away now, we must stay humble, but aware of our capacity”.
