As part of the school project, a representative of Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza participated this morning in a meeting, which was held in the Dante Alighieri Middle School in Piacenza, which saw one hundred and twenty students from the third classes of the Dante – Carducci Secondary School as protagonists.
Coordinated by Vittorino Francani, Contact person of Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza for the school project, by the Headmaster Alberto Mariani and by Professor Adriano Rotondi, during the meeting, for over an hour, Nicola Agricola, Technical Manager of the youth sector of Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza, the spiker Stephen Maar and the opposite player Alessandro Bovolenta spoke about volleyball to the students and answered their questions.
Stephen Maar is in his first season in Piacenza. Born in 1994, Canadian, 201 centimeters tall, raised at McMaster University, the last two seasons he has been an absolute protagonist in Monza with which, in the last sporting year, he got to play the Scudetto Final, the Italian Cup Final and the Challenge Cup Final. Since 2015 he has been one of the pillars of the Canadian national team with which he has collected individual prizes and won four bronze medals: two at the North American championship in 2017 and 2019, one at the 2016 Pan American Cup and one at the 2017 World League.
