After three weeks of forced stop, Enrico Zappoli, star of Domotek Volley Reggio Calabria, is back on the pitch. The volleyball player, the team’s point of reference, shared with us his feelings in view of the final rush of the championship and the next challenges that await the Calabrian team, mathematically among the top four in the A3 Credem group.

Welcome back Enrico! How do you feel after returning?
”Thank you! I was out of action for three weeks, but they helped me recover as best I could. Last week I returned to training and I feel good. I’m happy to be back on the pitch, especially in such an important moment for the team.”

Domotek Volley is headed towards the final rush of the championship, with one goal already achieved: fourth place in the rankings. What do you expect from these last two games and the play-offs?
“In my opinion, this break we have had will be very useful, both on a physical and mental level. The last two games will be fundamental to find the certainties that are still missing in view of the play-offs. We must get there at the top, concentrated and ready to give our best.”

How is the group doing at the moment?
”Honestly, we are in a period in which, like all the teams I think, we feel a bit tired on a physical level. But the group is well, we are united and ready to face the play-offs. However, we must not forget about the last two matches: they are important to maintain the rhythm and arrive prepared.”
