Laganà: “we have a wonderful crowd”

Domenico Laganà, captain of Domotek Volley Reggio Calabria, commented enthusiastically on the team’s latest victory, calling it one of the best performances of the year. In an emotional interview, Laganà spoke about the public, his teammates and the next challenges awaiting the team.
“The crowd is no longer news, but it is increasingly beautiful and numerous”, began Laganà, underlining the importance of the support of the fans: “For me it is wonderful to play at home, at Palacalafiore, because our crowd gives me an incredible boost. Feeling the crowd that loves you, that supports you, is something unique.”
The captain defined the match won against Castellana Grotte as one of the best of the season, both on an individual and team level: “Perhaps one of the best matches this year, if not the most beautiful. My teammates were great, and we take home these three fundamental points. Now some tough and difficult play-offs await us, but we are ready, we are ready!”
Laganà already has his sights set on the next round against Gioia del Colle, a fearsome, strong and prepared team: “We know that it is a team built to win, but we go there convinced that we can have our say. Thanks to these three points obtained at home, we have one more point than our next opponent and we want to continue like this.”
When asked to talk about his championship, Laganà smiled: “I’m having fun, and I’m having fun even more because I’m at home. It’s nice to feel the public loving you and pushing you to give your best.”
