Cisterna Volley is preparing for the next championship match against Gioiella Prisma Taranto, scheduled for Sunday 9 February at 6.00 pm, live on RAI and VBTV. The objective is to continue in the wake of the two consecutive victories obtained against Sonepar Padova and Valsa Group Modena. The Ionian team, currently twelfth in the Super League Credem Banca standings, are six points behind the Pontini team.
THE TEAM – This season, setter Jan Zimmermann is the only player always present on the pitch, making the experience gained in ten years with the German national team available to the team. Among the elements most used by coach Dante Boninfante are Roamy Alonso – absent for only three sets -, captain Filippo Lanza, Wout D’Heer and Tim Held, all with seventeen appearances in the championship.
