A trip to Romania that smiles on Trentino Itas, which took to the field yesterday, Wednesday 15 January, against CSM Corona for the first leg of the Play Off phase of the CEV Cup. Fabio Soli’s Dolomites managed to prevail 3- 1 at the home of the Romanian team, confirming the good form of Michieletto and his teammates, still unbeaten in 2025. Despite the first set won by the home team, the the Dolomites were able to bring the match to their side in the other three partials, taking advantage of Rychlicki’s 18 points, Michieletto’s 16 and Lavia’s 12. Good indications in view of the commitment in SuperLega Credem Banca this weekend, which will see Trento take the field within friendly walls against Yuasa Battery Grottazzolina, before the Final Four of the Del Monte® Coppa Italia. The return match against Corona is scheduled for Thursday 30 January, at 8.30 pm, at the ilT Quotidiano Arena in Trento: the yellow-blues will need two sets to reach the quarter-finals, while in the event of a 3-0 or 3-1 defeat, the Itas would still have a chance of qualifying by playing the Golden Set.
