Third day of the return round, second consecutive home match. Sarlux Sarroch arrives in Valenza with Alessandro Graziani who, less than a month after his farewell to the Acquesi colours, returns to the building that was his home for a season and a half as an opponent.
In the first leg the Sardinians clearly prevailed in the first of the five away matches played to date in which Negrini CTE came out defeated. In fact, only two victories outside their own walls for the Acqui team. On the contrary, the Valenza stadium is a safe haven that no one has managed to scratch in the five home matches played to date by captain Iacopo Botto and his teammates. Lastly, the match against bottom team Diavoli Rosa Brugherio in which players who usually find less space had the opportunity to shine.
Three steps separate Pallavolo La Bollente from leaders Personal Time which shares its 22 points with Gabbiano Farmamed Mantova and Belluno.
Sarroch arrives in Piedmont with 15 points in the standings, a sixth place in the standings and a desire for redemption after having started the second half of the season dry, beaten 3-1 by their cousins CUS Cagliari in the last match of 2024 and by Altotevere San Giustino last Sunday 3-0.
