After having archived the match against Cucine Lube Civitanova, Cisterna Volley returned to work in the gym to prepare for the important match against Sonepar Padova, scheduled for Saturday at 8.30 pm. THE SEASON – The team led by coach Jacopo Cuttini is experiencing a difficult period, with two consecutive defeats and no victories in 2025. On the last day, Padova was defeated by Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza in the tie-break, while in the previous round it was was beaten at home 3-1 by Yuasa Battery Grottazzolina. The only success of the second round dates back to 26 December, when Padova beat Gioiella Prisma Taranto 3-1. Despite the difficulties, the Venetians have shown great resilience. With 61 sets played since the start of the season, they are fifth in this special ranking, having played five tie-breaks.
