An insignificant knockout achieved by Trentino Itas in the return match of the CEV Cup against Benfica: at the PalaPirastu in Cagliari, an exceptional location for the Round of 16 match, Fabio Soli’s team immediately won the two sets necessary for passage of the round, with the Dolomite coach thus having the possibility of rotating the athletes at his disposal more. Over 2,200 spectators for a match that provided a spectacle and which allowed Michieletto and his teammates to secure the pass for the next round, called the Play Off, which will see Trento opposed to the Romanian team Corona Brasov, with the first leg taking place will play in mid-January. Over the weekend, however, Itas will be busy on the Gioiella Prisma Taranto pitch for the match valid for the 2nd day of SuperLega Credem Banca, with exclusive live coverage on VBTV.
