The Delta Group Porto Viro takes the court alongside AISLA, the Italian Association of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis. On the occasion of the home match on Santo Stefano (Thursday 26 December), which will see the nerofuchsia against Cantù, inside the Palasport in via XXV Aprile there will be a space dedicated to donations. Furthermore, the company will donate part of the proceeds from the tender to AISLA.
“We are happy to be able to give concrete support to AISLA and its activities – states the President of Delta Volley Luigi Veronese – As a society we have always believed that sport is not only competitive competition, but also an extraordinary means of social promotion through which we can convey positive values and messages, raise people’s awareness and involve them in solidarity initiatives like this. The appeal I make to our fans and to all those who will come to watch the match on the 26th is very simple: donate, donate, donate. Because together we can make a difference.”
For more than 40 years, AISLA has been actively moving throughout the national territory in favor of people with ALS and their families. The association supports research, training, information and assistance, working daily to ensure that the competent structures take care of people affected by ALS in an adequate and qualified manner.
