Winning debut for Trentino Itas in the match valid for the first leg of the Round of 32 of the CEV Cup 2025: the Dolomite team, host of the Romanian team C.S. Arcada was able to triumph 3-1 at the end of an open and hard-fought match.

After a strong first set from Trentino, won 25-18 by Sbertoli and his teammates, the hosts took the lead and were able to win the second set, only to surrender in the third and last set. The performance of Alessandro Michieletto stands out, author of 21 total points: Lavia (16) and Flavio (12) also scored in double figures, whose winning attack effectively closed the contest. The return match is scheduled for next week when, on Wednesday 20 November, the ilT Quotidiano Arena will host the match that could give Trento the passage to the next round: Sbertoli and his teammates will only need to win two sets to go through. First, however, the commitment of SuperLega Credem Banca, which will see the Dolomites challenge Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza on Sunday 17 November.
