Trentino Itas on the court on Wednesday against C.S. Arcada: the first leg of the Round of 32 takes place in Romania

The European journey of Trentino Itas starts from Romania and, having qualified for the 2025 CEV Cup at the end of the last SuperLega Credem Banca championship, it will take to the field tomorrow, Wednesday 13 November, for the first leg of the Round of 32. In Galati, a Romanian city near the border with Moldova and Ukraine, the Dolomite team, the kick-off is scheduled for 5.00 pm: on the other side of the net the local team of G.S. Arcada.

A return, the one in the Eastern European country, which had not happened for about ten years: the yellow-blue club had not set foot in Romania since 13 January 2015, on the occasion of the CEV Cup Quarter Finals in Craiova. In the history of Trento there is another precedent which saw it as a protagonist in this nation: on 8 December 2010, in fact, a 3-0 victory came to Zalau during the group stage of the 2011 edition of the CEV Champions League .

Fabio Soli was able to bring the entire squad with him, made up of 14 players: among them also the Romanian central defender Bela Bartha, still in the pits but still traveling together with the rest of the team.
