With 4 MVP awards obtained in as many matches in the month just ended, Noumory Keita from Rana Verona won the Credem Banca MVP award for the month of October.
The Malian spiker, top scorer of the last round with 31 points scored and currently leading the special ranking of top scorers (108 points scored so far by the class of 2001, with an extraordinary average of 6.75 points per set), has managed to take home the MVP award in the home matches against Cucine Lube Civitanova and Cisterna and in the away games at Allianz Milano and Yuasa Battery Grottazzolina. Four matches in which the Verona band was able to put together important performances and all coincided with victories for the Venetian team, currently at 14 points in the standings.
Keita will be awarded on the occasion of the next home match in Verona, the one on Saturday 2 November against Valsa Group Modena, a match valid for the 6th first leg of the SuperLega Credem Banca, with kick-off set for 8.30pm live on Rai Sport (start of the race on Rai Play) and VBTV.
