Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza informs that the athlete Nicola Salsi today will undergo surgery to clean the patellar tendon of his left knee.
Following an accidental trauma during afternoon training on Wednesday 16 October, the player suffered inflammation in the patellar tendon of his left knee with edema and thickening of the capsule.
The operation will be performed in Brescia by Professor Benazzo’s team.
The Company’s medical staff will evaluate the situation and recovery times on a daily basis.
Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza also informs that to make up for the period of absence of Nicola Salsi, the Polish setter Michal Kedzierski has been signed up and will be available to coach Andrea Anastasi for the match against Gioiella Prisma Taranto tomorrow, Saturday 19 October.
