The Serie A2 Credem Banca comes to life with the third round of the 2024/25 Regular Season. The day opens on Sunday 20 October with six matches and ends on Tuesday 22 October with the 8pm postponement between league leaders Ravenna and Siena, with 6 and 5 points respectively in the standings after two days. The weekend marathon will be inaugurated by the first Sunday match, the one at 4.00pm between Aversa, fresh from the first 3 points, and Pineto, which has risen to 4 by losing the tie-break at home. At 5.00pm Cantù will be on the pitch, chasing their first points, and Fano, which broke the deadlock with a three-point victory in the Marche derby. At 5.30pm it is the turn of the match between Brescia, defeated in a photo finish in both matches played, and Reggio Emilia, stuck with zero points in the standings like Macerata, who at 6.00pm receives the visit of Acicastello, already at 5 points. Simultaneously Cuneo, opposite the Sicilian team 1 point from the top, welcomes Porto Viro, undefeated like the Piedmontese but with full points like Ravenna. At the same time Palmi plays the field factor to erase the zero in the standings against Prata di Pordenone, fresh from the first 3 points. If young talents are strong, veterans are no different. This is demonstrated by a fact: three very expert setters are in the top ten of the oldest players who have played in Serie A2: Daniele Sottile, Manuel Coscione and Gabriel Garnica.
