GABBIANO MANTOVA – NEGRINI CTE ACQUI TERME 3-2 (25/20, 25/21, 25/22, 24/26, 7/15)
The pre-season for Negrini CTE Acqui Terme ends in Mantua where the thermal team appears completely out of step. Five training sets played, the Top Team Gabbiano Mantova prevailed in the first three, in the fourth the Acqui team managed to take advantage, managing to console themselves only in the fifth. A match in which, as commented by coach Michele Totire: “Nothing worked today because nothing worked on a psychological level, not due to physical factors. A bad day. These situations are also useful but we absolutely need to change in view of the championship opener. These are dynamics that can be useful in understanding the wrong attitude that you shouldn’t have in the championship. Better now than in the championship but we have to move on”
After more than a month and a half of preparation marked by many tests, the Acqui team must now be ready for a debut that promises to be very intense. On Sunday 20 October at 6pm the championship will begin at the Palazzetto dello Sport in Valenza with the derby against Monge Gerbaudo Savigliano.
