Not just Serie A2 Credem Banca: the 2024/2025 season will also begin this weekend for the almost 100 kids who make up the youth sector of Campi Reali Cantù. And the first to start the dancing are the boys of Serie D, who will face G. S. Rastà on Saturday 12 October at 8.00 pm within the friendly walls of Cadorago. The Under 15 and Under 17 categories will begin their respective championships the following week, on the weekend of 19/20 October, while the first kick-off for the Under 19s is scheduled for 27 October.
On the occasion of the start of their respective championships, the boys and their parents were called up last Sunday, 6 October, to the taraflex of the PalaFrancescucci in Casnate Con Bernate, already ready for the Serie A2 Credem Banca match which would take place shortly thereafter , to listen to the words that the President and the Cantù managers wanted to address to him on this occasion.
“After 42 years of being President of this club – says President Ambrogio Molteni – it is an honor for me to see so many kids from Cantù and the area growing up with our name, which has been present on the volleyball fields for so many years. We are a club that has a very long history, we have also brought some players to the Super League. The goal of every young person is to always grow and have fun doing sport, which is fundamental. He must also have the desire to win, and to try to improve in order to always aim high. Time will tell how much one is worth. At the end of this presentation our first team will take the field, and it is also made up of very young guys: your goal must be to aim to be on this field one day too.
