This was a long battle of five sets against Isernia and besides the usual suspects of Libraro, Roberti Gatto and Scappaticcio, a couple of new faces made their mark on the game: Salvatore Roberti and Lazzaro Gaetano.
“Tough to come on when the team is nervous – said Roberti – I came on a bit shy, without forcing anything in the first few plays but then I loosened up”.
“Libraro sent me an SMS around midnight – said Gaetano – It was in the Naples dialect but it said something like ‘you’ve got what it takes…you girly boy!’, When I came on, Libraro did not look too happy, he expected Pavan to serve, but the coach’s idea to send me was a winning one so he had accept he was wrong”.
