A morning dedicated to sport and community that took place at the ‘Jommelli’ high school in Aversa. At 9 am the renovated gym of the institute was inaugurated, in the presence of the athletes of Virtus Aversa branded Evolution Green, active in Serie A2. An event which saw the active participation of the president of the Norman club, Dr. Sergio Di Meo, accompanied by athletes Fernando Garnica, Salvatore Rossini, Arasomwan Martins and Gordan Lyutskanov.
The city authorities also took part in the ceremony, with the mayor of Aversa, Franco Matacena, and some members of the municipal administration. For football, the Real Normanna team is present, playing in the Eccellenza championship.
President Di Meo, enthusiastic about the day, declared: “It is an honor for us to participate in this sports festival. Virtus Aversa is a reality that strongly believes in the importance of training young people and in the value of sports facilities. Initiatives like this are fundamental for the growth of the community and for promoting sport as an educational and social tool. Seeing the students’ enthusiasm gives us the strength to continue investing in our project.”
