Yesterday, Saturday 28 September, the last pre-season match was played for Conad Reggio Emilia who are now preparing to play the first championship match in Prata di Pordenone on 6 October.
The test ends 3-2 for Brescia, but Reggio Emilia manages to demonstrate great tenacity against the Toucans, taking two sets to the advantage and playing point for point against a team that boasts great players. However, both teams tried out new players on the pitch to better prepare for the first championship match. Reggio and Gruppo Consoli Sferc will meet again soon because the third day of the Regular Season sees Volley Tricolore guest in Brescia.
Pier Paolo Partenio, Granata setter: “We can leave the pitch satisfied with the progress and improvements that have taken place from week to week, but also with joint training after another, so let’s start again with a smile on Tuesday. We know that we have to continue to work and improve, but we take some positive ideas from this match. The coach is inserting me and Gasparini in every half set, so this means he has faith in us. We are working well during the week, so the times we are called into action we try to give our best for the team, we still come in cold however, looking at all the entries we have made so far, I can be satisfied with the contribution we have from the team ”.
