Itas Trentino will challenge Sir Susa Vim Perugia (winning at 3.30 pm against Piacenza) in the Final of the Del Monte® Supercoppa SuperLega 2024. The reigning European Champions beat Vero Volley Monza in three sets and will compete with the Umbrians for the first title of the season in an unprecedented trophy final.
The two sextets are the ones announced: Soli sends Sbertoli and Rychlicki onto the field as setter and opposite, the Italian hammer pair Michieletto-Lavia in place four, Gualberto and Kozamernik in the center, Laurenzano libero. Andriani, on the bench in place of the absent Eccheli, responds with Kreling “Cachopa” and Szwarc, the German Rohrs and the Finnish Marttila as spikers, captain Beretta and Di Martino in the center, Gaggini libero. In Vero Volley there is Juantorena on the bench while Zaytsev is not yet available and can be deployed after the third day of the championship, in addition to the unavailable Mosca and Averill.
