Giancarlo Bettelli, born in 1935, passed away yesterday, known throughout the world of Modena volleyball as “The left-handed”. First a high-level player and then coach of Villa d’Oro (with which he won the scudetto in 1961), Bettelli also made 11 appearances for the national team. The condolences of all of Modena Volley go to Bettelli’s family and to those who loved him.
