From tradition to tradition. Also this year, after the usual presentation of the team to the public at the Delta Sporting Club, Delta Volley Porto Viro wanted to meet its main sponsors in a more intimate context to present the activities of the 2024/2025 season.
The convivial evening was held for the third consecutive year in the enchanting “In Marinetta” fish tourism center in Rosolina. Among delicious dishes and fine wines, President Luigi Veronese was the first to speak and thanked all the sponsors present for the support offered daily. The Sports Director Massimo Zambonin then took stock of the youth activity: the collaboration with Adria Volley will continue, which has been able to produce many good results, but the juiciest and most prestigious news is the already announced first participation of Delta Volley in the Junior League, the national Under 20 Men’s championship organized by the Serie A Volleyball League. It is a sign that Delta Volley wants to continue investing in the growth of the academy, with the aim of enhancing local talents.
Speaking of young people and the territory, the projects dedicated to schools will also continue. Fifth edition for “A Scuola di Volley”, a motor, physical and sports education program carried out within the comprehensive schools of Porto Viro and Loreo, third for “Delta 4 School”, an initiative that aims to bring local students closer to the world of volleyball, offering them the opportunity to attend the home matches of the Delta Group Men’s A2 Series for free.
