Another day with a double training session for Emma Villas Siena at PalaEstra. The preparation of the Sienese team continues, having played the first test match of their season yesterday afternoon. Siena challenged San Giustino and the result of the joint training was 2-2, with the Siena team winning the first two sets and with San Giustino winning the third and fourth sets. It was a useful moment for coach Gianluca Graziosi who was able to test all the elements available in the white and blue roster. The scoreboard talks about 12 points scored by Gabriele Nelli, 11 scored by Matteo Alpini and 10 scored by Claudio Cattaneo.

Cattaneo closed the test match with 4 winning serves. “I’m happy with this aspect – commented the spiker from the Sienese team. – We are working well on serve, the result in this joint training was good. I’m happy, I feel good in this group. Finding the right pace is certainly important. We are creating a good bond with our new teammates, what matters will be to bond more and more on the pitch. We are working every day in the gym for this and to be ready for the first day of the championship.”
