The first official red and white moment of spiker Uros Kovacevic and second coach Roberto Rotari was held today in the morning at Badaracco Assicurazioni and Italiana Assicurazioni, Gold Sponsors of the Biancorossa Club for the fourth and third consecutive year respectively.
At the speakers’ table – with Uros Kovacevic and Roberto Rotari – Isabella Cocciolo CEO of Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza, Osvaldo Badaracco owner of the Badaracco Assicurazioni agency, Carlo Cocco Marketing and Training Manager of Italiana Assicurazioni and the red and white center back Gianluca Galassi.
Isabella Cocciolo: “In welcoming Kovacevic and Rotari I thank Badaracco Assicurazioni and Italiana Assicurazioni for still being by our side not only this season but also next. It is an important signal for us because it means that these sponsors believe in our project which is long-term, our project continues and these two sponsors will still be at our side. Kovacevic is known as a great fighter and I am convinced that he will be able to give a lot to the team, Rotari is a very prepared coach with a lot of experience, the right addition to the technical staff.”

Uros Kovacevic: “The impact with Piacenza as a city and a team was very positive. I came very willingly to Piacenza, the team is strong and each match can have a different leader given the many important players there are. Yes, I am a fighter and I will do everything to help the team get as far as possible. I knew that one day I would come to play in Piacenza, I felt it but I’m not a seer and therefore I don’t know what we can do this season.
Roberto Rotari: “I am happy to return to work in Italy, in an environment that I immediately liked from the first moments, a serious and highly professional environment. Working with Andrea is really nice, I already know Kovacevic and I guarantee that he is a great fighter, here is everything to be able to do well. Poland and Italy? Different mentalities but we work well in both places.”
