Emma Villas Siena and Sales Firenze collaborate and look to the future with a common gaze. The two clubs have started a collaboration that starts with their respective first teams and then extends to the youth sectors. “The objective is to create an important synergy – declares Pietro Sguazzini, sporting director of Sales Florence. – We are talking about two companies that are rowing in the same direction and that will give rise to significant collaborations. We hope to create a long journey together and create a long-lasting and intense relationship.”

Sales Florence has a first team that plays in Serie C, then a First Division team and practically all the Under: the Under 19, two Under 17 teams, an Under 15, an Under 14 and a large minivolley sector . “For us – declares Sguazzini – it is a source of pride to collaborate with a Serie A reality. The collaboration starts immediately, with joint events and initiatives. We will go to support Emma Villas Siena in their home championship matches at PalaEstra, we will bring fans to the building in Viale Sclavo”.

And then there is the fundamental aspect of technical collaboration. The sporting director of Sales Firenze Pietro Sguazzini states: “An important role will be that of Luigi Banella, head of the youth sector of Emma Villas Siena. Our kids will be evaluated on what may be the best growth path for them. We will carry out joint training sessions, friendlies and youth tournaments, we will try to activate as many synergies as possible. Our company is constantly growing, we work a lot in the area and we have five gyms at our disposal which are practically always busy. In recent months we have received even more interest and have received many requests to participate even from older children, aged 15, 16 and 17. Volleyball is very popular and attracts young people. This attention is certainly also due to the great results obtained by the Italian national volleyball teams at the Paris Olympics. We are satisfied with our numbers and the results achieved and we look to the future with passion, enthusiasm and optimism.”
