From today at the Daily Arena there are three other players who recently participated in the Paris 2024 Olympics available to Fabio Soli for pre-season preparation. After Flavio Gualberto (at work since last week) and Daniele Lavia, today it was the turn of Jan Kozamernik, Alessandro Michieletto and Riccardo Sbertoli to officially start their season, carrying out the first session in the yellow and blue jersey in the afternoon. The appointment has been postponed for Gabriele Laurenzano, who due to a family bereavement that has affected him in the last few hours will not be able to be in Trento for at least another couple of days.
An hour in the weight room and the following two on the central court of the facility in via Fersina were the starting program of the activity for the Slovenian center back and the two Italians who, thanks to their arrival, will allow the technical staff to be able to work for three and a half weeks before the official debut (Saturday 21 September in Florence against Monza, Super Cup semi-final) with the group practically complete. Laurenzano aside, the roster set up in the summer will only be missing spiker Alessandro Bristot, who will be busy until 7 September with the Italian Under 20 national team for the category’s European Championship, which is being played in Greece and Serbia.
Itas Trentino will have a double training session on Thursday and Friday, rest on Saturday and then conclude the fifth week of preparation with another two sessions on Sunday.
